Viral Love

Feb. 19th, 2008 | 10:05 pm

Okay, I am officially OBSESSED with Viral. I have gone completely fangirl over him. And guess what? There is tons of Viral crap thanks to Klar because she hosted a Viral contest! THANK YOU KLAR!~~<3<3<3<3

So yes, I now have well over the sane amount of Viral pictures anyone should have. The nice thing, though, is most people get his personality right and don't try to fluff him. Some do, but most don't. I don't care if he is borderline fury, I LOVE VIRAL~<3

It's taking over!

Feb. 7th, 2008 | 06:33 pm

So, I got into the mood to write, and sat down and did. But then came along a character who's name I couldn't think of, so I decided to go and do my favorite hobby, name searching on the internet. Well, a big thing for this character is blood, so I was like "Hey! I'll just find another word for blood, break it, change it slightly, and there ya go!" which isn't all that bad of idea. I've done it before, and I get some decent names with slight meaning underneath them. well, I searched and searched, and apparently almost every culture says blood the same way. Go figure. That helps me loads.

Anyways, so I finally decided to try and try the Latin translation for blood. Guess what? THERE ISN'T ONE. Wtf. So, I typed in the phrase "the Latin word for blood is", a phrase that usually gets me somewhere. Well, I got two entries. One I didn't open because it was a pdf ,and those take too long to open, the other was a Harry Potter livejournal entry that features Harry/Draco. Good god, it's everywhere! I am serious, I can't tell you how many random searches I've done that have turned up Harry Potter fanficcage. It's so weird!

Oh, and the Italian word for blood is by far the coolest. It's anima. :D

Brianna vs. Flu

Feb. 7th, 2008 | 04:40 pm
mood: sicksick

Brianna is K.O.'d by 100,000 damage from flu. Supervirus wins without a scratch. Revive time: 4 days. Revive sickness includes lose of voice, lose of weight, and reduced magical abilities due to cotton stuffed in head *stuffy nose and plugged ears*

...stupid flu.

What I Write at 12 at night

Apr. 28th, 2007 | 05:14 pm
mood: sleepysleepy
music: Reaching for the Sky

Ya, so, I wrote this at midnight because at that time, it seemed a petty freaking awesome idea. Considering I had no caffeine or sugar in my body at the time to keep me coherent at the time, I did pretty well. Here ya go.

The blue sky ran its color down into the earth, pouring itself into a river that moved lazily through grass that waved back at the sky with the wind. Two boys dreamily lay among the waving grass, eyes glassy and unfocused, the wind carrying the warm scents of flowers and grass to their noses. It acted like a drug, lulling them to a near sleeping state.
One of the boys had his eyes turned towards the sky, watching the sparse clouds turn from grinning foxes to swans bursting forth from puffy mushrooms that floated in the sky. His eyes were distracted from the mushrooms when a flicker of blue jumped in the corner of his eye. Glancing to the side, his eyes caught the sight of the sky moving in the shape of two wings and a thin, stick body. The piece of sky fluttered up and down erratically, like it couldn’t decide whether it wanted to land or stay afloat among the waving grass. Finally, the little piece of sky found its own sun on the ground, a small flower so yellow it could have been plucked from the surface of the star above. Delicately, it produced six small feet, which it used to carefully cling to the small sun. Unfurling a long stream of dark blue, the sky moved it to the surface of the sun, drinking up the liquid light in its center.
Smiling, the boy continued to watch this moving piece of the sky as its wings fluttered in the bright light of the day.
“Hey. Wouldn’t it be wonderful to be a butterfly?” he said offhand to his friend. “You fly around with your beautiful bright wings, drinking sweet nectar under the warm sun. When you are done, you just flutter to the next flower.”
“No,” came the sleepy reply.
“Why not?”
Just then, a small ribbit from nearby called the attention of both boys. A small green rock jumped, then waddled, then jumped again towards the little piece of sky. All in an instant, a pink flash shot out, and the sky was torn from the sun and pulled into the rock. The boys watched, one in shock the other in slight interest, as the sky’s wings folded and broke as it was pulled deeper and deeper into the center of the small rock. Then it was gone, the blue sky swallowed by the small bit of earth. Turning, it waddled in the other direction, hopping every so often like it wanted to get closer to the sky it had just eaten. All that was left was a slightly powdery sliver that had broken off as it was consumed.
“That’s why.”

ABOUT THE TEST

This personality test is heavily based on the Kiersey Sorter. In essence, it measures your personality across four variables: Introversion-Extraversion, Intuition-Sensing, Thinking-Feeling and Judging-Percieving. There are both positive and negative attributes to each of the traits.

Introversion-Extraversion: Generally, people who score high on "introversion" are reserved, quiet people who keep to themselves whereas people who score low on "introversion" are outgoing, friendly people who are extraverts.
Intuition-Sensing: People who score high on "intuition" are guided by gut instinct, they go on intuition as opposed to people who score low on this trait, who prefer to rely on established fact and their senses, rather than their own belief.
Thinking-Feeling: People with high scores on "thinking" rely more on their head to make decisions, whereas people who score low on "thinking" rely more on their heart to guide them. (Note: this has no bearing on a person's intelligence level; it merely refers to the way in which they make desicions.)
Judging-Percieving: People who score high "judging" are firm, decisisive people, whereas people who score low on this trait are flexible, accomodating people.

YOUR RESULTS

Stats: Approximately 6% of population.

The category write-ups displayed here are not entirely my own; some of this info has been taken from personalitypage.com and some from changingminds.org, both of which are excellent sources of information about personality types. Back into the RP Worl I Go!

Jan. 6th, 2007 | 12:13 pm
mood: happyhappy
music: Promised Land 2005~

Well, I have decided to start RPing again. This time I am doing it in an organized *but hellishly complicated* RP called Shifters. It took me about three hours to write out the character guidelines sheet and submit it for pre-evaluation before I submit it for validation so I can RP. X-X. 'Bout killed myself doing it. Was the most complicated RP process I have ever been through, but the RP is promising with consistant players and very in depth plot. I'm hoping this will enable me to improve my writing skills and come up with plot on the spot when needed. Of course, I first have to allow my character to get trashed by those in the pre-evaluation forum and fix the thing so I can get my character okayed.

Yay for me.
